Cranes Beach Surfcasting and Nantucket Albies | S9 E06

Part 1:
When the fall run kicks off in September, New England anglers have a lot of fisheries to choose from.  OTW TV travelled to two unique locations in Massachusetts to sample this incredible early Fall fishing. First up, OTW’s Neal Larsson joins surfcaster Brian O’Connor to wade Cranes Beach, located on the North Shore to target striped bass cruising the network of sandbars that make this beach ideal for shore fishing.

Part 2:
In the second segment, the fishing kicks into high gear and Chris Megan meets his friend Dan Pucillo of The Black Dog and Capt. Terry Nugent of Riptide Charters at the ramp in Falmouth Harbor. Terry got the call that the albies arrived in big numbers off Nantucket Island. The crew wastes no time getting right on top of the birds working off Great Point, casting to breaking false with light tackle.
