First Look: Redesigned Grady-White Canyon 336
The new Grady-White Canyon 336 is sure to get your attention. Grady-White’s state-of-the-art full height glass windshield, completely integrated T-top, and new, sleek styling elements make it a real beauty. The ergonomically advanced helm and windshield, that provides improved line of sight and overall visibility, are just some of the new features that make the re-engineered Canyon 336 an even more exceptional offshore family fishing boat.
The all-glass windshield offers incredible visibility and the fiberglass T-top creates a superstructure that together, eliminates the need for side curtains and provides ample protection for up to three at the helm. Optional canvas wing curtains offer added coverage if needed, and an electric vent in the center of the windshield means you don’t have to sacrifice air circulation for added protection.
Another stand-out feature of the Canyon 336 is the all-new helm design that includes room for dual 17″ flush mount electronic panels strategically located closer to the captain. This redesigned console and T-top is a space saver, allowing added walkaround space on each side and expansion of both the cockpit and bow. A deluxe lean bar features three Command Elite horizontally adjustable contoured helm chairs with deluxe flip-up bolsters and footrests. The 45-gallon insulated raw water livewell, rigging station with cold freshwater shower, 104-quart cooler, cutting board, lockable bulk storage and dedicated tackle storage, two knife and plier holders, and six rod holders complete this extensive list of standard features. Optional elements include a new electric grill, 26-gallon livewell and an integrated electrically retractable SureShade® cockpit shade with Sunbrella® canvas.
“We are very excited to introduce the new Canyon 336,” notes Joey Weller, Grady-White Vice President of Sales. “Our design team’s numerous enhancements and upgrades go above and beyond what you would expect to find in a boat of this size. We know it’s going to excite the serious fishermen who want a high-performance boat that doesn’t compromise the quality and comfort that’s synonymous with the Grady-White brand.”
With a standard port cockpit door and boarding ladder, loading and unloading are a breeze. If you’re looking for easy access from the starboard side, the patented cockpit step is an option. Additional standard features in the cockpit include dockside power, remote engine flush system, transom door and an integrated swim platform and 4-step ladder. Anglers will appreciate horizontal storage for three rods, eleven rod holders and a 291-quart insulated fish box with lights and optional refrigerator/freezer system. Forward and aft pressurized raw and freshwater washdowns offer added convenience while on the water.
The bow is well configured with an enlarged forward console seat and expanded fish boxes, each 204-quarts. For days you just want to relax, this space doubles as a lounging area that’s enhanced with standard patented fold away forward facing bolstered backrests. An optional casting platform insert with cushion, bow table and Grady’s all-new Easy-up Bow Shade round out this boat’s ability to flex from fishing to entertaining. The standard anchor windlass with control switches at both the helm and the windlass is just one more amenity that adds to the functionality of the 336.
The lockable console interior outclasses the competition with a standup head area, shower and Corian® countertop with stainless steel sink. The cushioned berth with a flip-up backrest adds to the comfort and convenience of the 336. Other enhancements include composite cherry and holly sole, built-in storage under a lift out Corian® lid, recessed indirect lighting and a side window to let in natural light, complete with tinted privacy glass. And if you’re looking for more storage, you’ll find it here with six vertical rod holders, two drawers under the sink, aft storage with curtain cover and bulk storage under the berth. “Once again, the Grady-White engineering team has made a superb boat even better”, says Shelley Tubaugh, Grady-White Vice President of Marketing. “While continuing the company’s tradition of designing exceptional boats for the entire family, the re-engineered Canyon 336 is truly a fisherman’s dream come true!”
The Canyon 336 is chock full of options to boost your boating experience, from bow thruster and Yamaha Helm Master® to a water heater, air conditioner and diesel generator.
