Russ Stevens joins bass pro Gene Ellison on Lake Winnipesaukee for Marine USA’s first annual Champions Challenge. As they brave 36-degree temperatures and 20-knot winds, Russ and Gene attempt to crack the fall fishing patterns and put together a hefty stringer for the weigh-in. Gene provides constant instruction to Russ and our viewers, offering advice on how to put more bass in the boat and demonstrating how he earned his nickname, “The Fishing Machine.” By drop-shotting and using spinnerbaits, these two anglers haul a few nice bass out of the lake and into the livewell.
