Offshore Yellowfin and Mahi and Boston Harbor Fluke and Flounder | S1 E05
Jay Baver and Captain Duane Gelzer make the run to Hydrographers Canyon and start off by pulling a seven-rod spread. Mahi and football yellowfin tuna keep drags buzzing all day long, and after dark, some larger tuna fall to the chunk before it’s time to weigh anchor and head for the barn.
Next, Gene Bourque heads to Boston Harbor for a flatfish extravaganza. Fishing with contributing writer Ron Powers, the crew starts the day chumming for winter flounder near Deer Island, successfully bringing a few healthy blackbacks over the rail. Then they motor to Lynn Marsh to pull up some keeper fluke for the box.
