Regulator Marine
Regulators are North Carolina bred and born, tested against the challenging conditions of the Outer Banks.
We all love a perfect day on the water, but fishing and boating in the Northeast often means unexpected weather, unpredictable conditions, and snotty seas. That’s where Regulator comes in. Built in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Regulators are designed with a 24-degree deadrise that slices through chop and handles confidently in any seas. These are serious center console sportfishers that can handle tough conditions with ease.
The Ride
With a sportfishing heritage and a 30-year evolution that has led to creature comforts for family fun on the water, it’s no wonder Regulator continues to be a go-to brand for Northeast boaters. Ask any Regulator owner why they love their boat and you’ll hear a variety of answers about the lines, the quality, the customer service, the safety.
But really, it’s all about the ride. The deep-vee center console and Carolina flare that made Regulator famous has been a mainstay since 1988. It’s the core of every Regulator on the water today, designed by naval architect Lou Codega and built by the offshore experts in Edenton, North Carolina.
“Solid” is the word most often used to describe a Regulator, and that’s thanks to the fact that each hull is composed of four solid components bonded together to become one solid piece. Building boats this way eliminates much of the stress at the deck, liner and hull joints. That’s why it feels as though the boat is literally slicing through waves.
This confidence is something that inspires most Regulator fans to become owners, and owners to become repeat customers.
As a Massachusetts-based owner told us, “I always wanted a Regulator but was skeptical that the boat would prove to be worth the investment over time—I was wrong. It’s an outstanding ride with great fishability, durability, quality construction and resale…not that I am selling anytime soon!”
